Connecting Your Accounts

How to connect services like Google, Instagram, YouTube, and more.

Your automations need permission to act on your behalf. An Instagram posting automation, for instance, needs access to your Instagram account. That's what Credentials are — they're the secure link between Epic Saaz and your other services.

How Connecting Works

We use something called OAuth — it's the same technology behind those "Sign in with Google" buttons you see everywhere. Here's how the process works:

1
You click Connect next to a service (like Instagram).
2
A popup opens taking you to that service's login page.
3
You log in and click Allow or Authorize.
4
You're sent back to Epic Saaz. The connection is saved securely.
Tip: Your passwords are never stored by Epic Saaz. We only receive a secure token that lets us perform actions on your behalf. You can revoke access at any time from the service's own settings.

The Credentials Page

Go to Credentials in the sidebar to see all your connected accounts. Each card shows:

  • The service name and your account identifier
  • When the connection was made
  • How many automations use this connection

Multiple Accounts

You can connect more than one account for the same service. For example, two different Instagram accounts. When you set up an automation, you'll be asked which account to use.

API Keys

Some services use an API key instead of OAuth. For these, you'll see an input field instead of a Connect button. Paste the key from the service's dashboard and click Save.

Disconnecting an Account

To remove a connection, click the Delete button on the credential card. If any automations are using that connection, you'll see a warning first.

Heads up: Deleting a credential that's used by active automations will cause those automations to fail on their next run. Reconfigure them to use a different account first.
