Automations

Set up, run, reconfigure, and manage your automations.

When you activate a Blueprint, you get an automation. It's a live, working version of that recipe, set up with your own settings and hooked into your accounts. Pretty straightforward.

Setting Up a New Automation

1
Go to Blueprints in the sidebar and pick one.
2
Click Activate or Set Up.
3
Give your automation a name (e.g. "My Instagram Poster").
4
Connect your accounts — if the blueprint needs Instagram, you'll see a Connect button. Click it, log into your account, and allow access.
5
Fill in the settings — each blueprint has different fields. Some ask for a topic, a schedule, a folder, etc. Fill in what makes sense for you.
6
Click the Activate button at the bottom. Your automation is now live!

The Automations Page

Click Automations in the sidebar to see all your automations. Each card shows the name, status, how many times it's run, and when it last ran.

Automation Statuses

  • Active (green) — running and working
  • Draft (grey) — set up started but not yet activated
  • Paused (amber) — was active but you paused it
  • Error (red) — something went wrong. Check the error message for details

Reconfiguring an Automation

Want to change the settings of an automation that's already running? No problem.

1
Find your automation on the Automations page.
2
Click the Reconfigure button on its card.
3
Change whatever you need — the schedule, the topic, the connected account, etc.
4
Click Save & Reactivate. The automation restarts with your new settings.
Tip: You can also reconfigure from the automation's detail page by clicking View Details first, then Reconfigure.

Deactivating and Deleting

Deactivate pauses an automation without removing it. You can reactivate it later. Delete removes it permanently.

To deactivate: click the three-dot menu on the automation card and choose Deactivate. To delete: choose Delete from the same menu. You'll be asked to confirm.

Running Manually

Some automations have a Run Now button. This triggers the automation immediately instead of waiting for its schedule. Useful for testing or when you need results right away.

Viewing Executions

Every time an automation runs, it creates an execution. You can see all executions on the Executions page in the sidebar, or click View Details on an automation and scroll down to its execution history.
