Turn LinkedIn enquiries into leads your team actually follows up
It reads the LinkedIn notification emails sitting in a mailbox folder β the ones LinkedIn sends you, or a colleague forwards β turns genuine enquiries into numbered leads in your pipeline, and tells the right person on your team before the thread goes cold.

LinkedIn is where your warmest leads quietly disappear
Someone messages you on LinkedIn, replies to a post, or accepts a connection with a question attached. LinkedIn tells you by email β and that email lands in the same pile as everything else. By the time you see it, the moment has passed.
It's worse across a team: a colleague gets the message, means to forward it, and forgets. There's no pipeline, no owner, no reference β just a notification you half-remember.
This blueprint reads those LinkedIn emails for you. Whether LinkedIn sent them or a colleague forwarded them, it pulls the real enquiry out, logs it as a numbered lead, and puts it in front of the person who should answer β while it's still warm.
How it works
- 1
1. Point it at the folder your LinkedIn mail lands in
Connect the mailbox and choose the folder where LinkedIn notifications (or colleagues' forwards) arrive. No LinkedIn integration to authorise, no scraping β just the email you already get.
- 2
2. It reads the enquiry out of the notification
LinkedIn's emails are noisy templates. It extracts the actual message, who it's from and what they want β and ignores the digests, reactions and "you appeared in searches" clutter.
- 3
3. It becomes a numbered lead, routed to the right owner
The enquiry lands in your pipeline with a reference, assigned to the right person from your People, Leave and Working-hours settings β who is told immediately.
- 4
4. Forwards from colleagues work too
When a teammate forwards a LinkedIn message into the folder, it's captured the same way β so a lead one person saw becomes a lead the whole team can act on.
What it does for you
LinkedIn leads stop slipping through
Every genuine message becomes a tracked lead instead of a notification you'll scroll past.
Works off email you already receive
No LinkedIn API, no login sharing, no scraping β it reads the notification emails, including ones a colleague forwards.
Pulls the real enquiry out of the template
It knows LinkedIn's email layout and lifts out the actual message, sender and intent β not the surrounding clutter.
Routed to the right owner, instantly
Line of business and owner come from your settings, so the right person is told while the lead is still warm.
A team that doesn't drop handoffs
A forwarded message becomes a shared, owned lead β not a favour someone forgot to do.
A reference and a record
Each lead carries a reference and a trail of when it arrived and who it went to.

About this Blueprint
For: any business that gets enquiries through LinkedIn.
What it does: LinkedIn tells you about messages and enquiries by email. Point those notifications at a mailbox folder, or have colleagues forward them there, and this blueprint reads them: job alerts, likes and suggestions are ignored, and each real enquiry becomes a lead with its own reference. The platform picks the line of business and the person responsible, and tells them itself. An email sent by LinkedIn gets no reply, because LinkedIn's notifications come from a no-reply address. A LinkedIn email forwarded by a colleague gets one reply to that colleague, saying it has been captured and who has it. The source email is marked read and tagged 'LinkedIn' or 'LinkedIn (fwd)' in the mailbox. Every other email in the folder is left alone, so the email capture blueprint can watch the same folder. When the notification carries no email or phone for the person, the lead is flagged Needs Attention so nobody loses it.
You set up: the mailbox and folder the LinkedIn emails arrive in, the address replies are sent from, the lead pipeline, your People, Lines of business and Working hours. To see the tags in colour, create the two categories once in Outlook.
